When Will The PC Lobby Stop?

I saw this on Twitter the other day. Can’t confirm it was taken in Scotland but the photo itself looks authentic.

Society is changing too rapidly for me. Is there never going to be an end to the politically correct lobby?

Obituary

An Obituary printed in the London Times - Interesting and sadly rather true.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;

- Why the early bird gets the worm;

- Life isn't always fair;

- and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly pupil, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a pupil but could not inform parents when a pupil became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense tool a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion, by his daughter Responsibility and by his son Reason.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realised he had gone.

Don't Mention Fruit (Or Veg)

Shirley Brown (pictured) and Jay Jethwa are two Bristol councillors. During a City Council meeting Ms Brown called Mrs Jethwa a coconut. Mrs Jethwa said she did not hear the term used during the meeting but was alerted by a fellow councillor and she later watched it on the council's website.

The alleged victim, who moved to England from India 24 years ago, wept in the witness box as she recalled the 'deeply upsetting' moment she saw the footage. She said: "I heard her say there was a word in her community for people like me and that word is coconut. I was completely shocked and numb. I was very, very upset and distressed. The word is doubly insulting as it insults both me and the white population".

The jibe is used to accuse someone of betraying their heritage by pandering to 'white' opinion, as a coconut is white in the inside but brown on the outside, Bristol magistrates heard. Ms Brown was found guilty of racially aggravated harassment. She is Bristol City Council's first black Liberal Democrat councillor and is responsible for the ethnically diverse ward of Ashley.

Political correctness has reached such impossible levels that even a humorous comment can now be classed as an offence. You can see from this article the action taken was a political move and little to do with the insult itself. The Scots will have to be careful. Often I hear the term 'yer a real turnip'. Not in this house of course!

We Should Be Ashamed We've Allowed Britain to Come To This

I've spoken about the Righteous and their pleasure at gaining another scalp in their efforts to turn us into brainwashed morons, but little has made me as angry as this.

Picture above is Roy Amor, 61, who was a medical technician. He worked for Opcare, a private company that provides prosthetic and orthotic services to the NHS.

He was facing a disciplinary investigation after suggesting to a black colleague, (who was also a close friend), that he "better hide" when they noticed immigration officers outside their clinic. His black friend was not offended, however Mr Amor's comment was overheard by someone else who lodged a formal complaint.

Mr Amor was suspended. Five days later, after he received an email about the incident from his employers, police found his body outside his home near Bolton, Lancashire. He had left three notes, all of which mention Opcare, inculding one written outside his workplace at 5pm on the day before he died in which he describes his despair. Such despair that he had shot himself in the head.

The black man, who is believed to have attended Mr Amor's funeral and had known him for many years, is said to be "shattered". There is no suggestion whatsoever that the remark was anything other than a joke between two good friends.

Opcare chief executive Michael O'Byrne admitted Mr Amor had been suspended over the joke. He added: "It's an enormous tragedy and we are all in mourning. I knew Roy personally and he was an excellent technician."

You're not all in mourning Mr O'Byrne. There's someone in your organisation who will be thrilled to bits that their behaviour has rid the country of someone they view as 'racist'. That person is dangerous. Their intention is to have a society in which we spy on each other and rid these islands of individuality. I'm sure many Opcare employees will be feeling very insecure in their work now they realise someone with a vindictive itinerary is in their midst.

Why couldn't the matter have been investigated on the spot? A statement from the person to whom the comment was directed, saying he wasn't offended should have resolved the issue. Silly me! Common sense is no longer applicable in this country.

I for one will not be dictated to by these people. They can label me anything they wish but I will not succumb to their distasteful agenda. If we don't make a stand against these 'politically correct' zealots then we deserve the society we get.

Dundee Cancels Christmas

'I never thought I'd live to see the day', how often do we say that? Early on Thursday morning, because I was completely weary watching the Jim Murphy Show on the BBC, I decided to browse the papers for some light-hearted relief.

Imagine my surprise when, in the Scotland section of the Times, a header 'We wish you a merry Christmas (but not in Dundee)'. Yes, I did have to read it twice.

Dundee, the place of my birth, the once thriving centre of industries such as ship building, jute making, Smedleys, Timex, NCR, has finally been consumed by the Righteous brigade and in the first year of an SNP council to boot. I've heard of labour councils playing this silly game but it never crossed my mind an SNP council would be so accommodating to the Righteous.

All references to Christmas have been dropped from the switching-on ceremony, on 27 November, for the city's festive lights and the occasion will be now known as "Dundee Winter Light Night." Council officials have also decided that rather than a retelling of the Nativity story there will be a disco, a contemporary circus, a continental market and a 7 foot fairy on stilts.

Members of the Presbytery of Dundee are up in arms. Too right and good for them. I would have thought most of the population would disagree with this move.

The council really should do their homework rather better before including Winter in their title. Winter is usually defined here as starting on the winter solstice which is 21 December therefore, to be truly politically correct the title should be Dundee Autumnal Light Night.

Come on Dundee council, stop the nonsense and give Dundee's Christmas lights their proper label. There's nothing politically correct about this change. The message I get from it is you're still a bunch of numpties, even though you've changed colour.

I never thought I'd live to see the day Dundee purposely ignored the celebration of Christmas.
