The Poison Most Of Us Use Daily

I came across the following emails which focussed my mind (once again) on what we unknowably consume, or prefer to ignore. I've omitted the email addresses involved to protect the writers' privacy. It's many years since the last debate and now far more information is available publicly, thanks to the internet.

I hope you all realise that the chemical weapons that the Uk government gave licences for that were for Syria are sodium fluoride . The same chemical they are putting in the water in some parts of the Uk .They themselves are classing as a chemical weapon.

Subject: RE: Flouride
Yes this is true, I read the documentation that was sent to me by a friend who found this out via the water companies. I was also led to believe that fluoride was being put into our tea bags too (although can't confirm this), oh and salt too. Fluoride is also used in the pesticides and there is a report somewhere that shows that Potatos (skins especially), iceberg lettuce, raisins and a few others have massive dosages of fluoride in them (which are way stronger than the water supply), upto 200 times in some cases from memory. The water companies only issue an average of fluoride as parts per million (ppm) so one day there may be none, the next a lot, we don't know.

I have a 5 stage reverse osmosis water filter and use non fluoride toothpaste (aloe vera type - £4/tube). Most toothpastes contain 800-1200ppm !

Fluoride is a known neuro toxin that affects the brain. Just one of a number of reasons we are getting dementia.

Regards

Mike

I too have read that some licences the UK had signed were for fluorides but had no idea it is a chemical base - although a weak one - which, combined with other chemicals [Wiki] can result in lethal weapons.

It's made me think too about the government's mantra of 'eat your 5-a-day'. From the available evidence regarding fruit and vegetables (unless totally organic), we're being told to poison ourselves. It's too late for me but for future generations the fluoride issue has to be debated in depth instead of politicians only issuing the 'positive' message that it saves our children's teeth.  I'd rather children's teeth were spared fluoride because there is no longterm evidence that it does good.

Isn’t paranoia wonderful?

Someone seriously needs help – or at least a beginner’s guide to chemistry.

Yes, pure 100% sodium fluoride can be used as a precursor in the manufacture of ‘chemical weapons’.

Equally, sodium chloride can also be used as a precursor in the manufacture of ‘chemical weapons’ – but without it, each and every one of us would die!

Water, used as both a solvent and coolant, is also essential in the manufacture of ‘chemical weapons’ – should we ban water!?

So for all those with paranoia – something to really get your teeth into –

Dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO) – this substance is colourless, odourless, tasteless, and kills thousands of people every year.
Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance.
The government has refused to ban the production, distribution, or use of this chemical due to ‘its importance to the economy of the nation.’
DHMO has been found in every loch and waterway in Scotland.
One has to ask - What are our local authorities doing about this DHMO.

I have it on good authority that
whisky is an antidote to DHMO.

Thanks for the info, JRB.

It was considerate of you to avoid too much scaremongering. Sadly, SR's readers may need more information on that hazardous chemical in order to adopt a personal usage policy.

Not for the faint-hearted, but for those concerned about the well-being of future generations, I recommend:-

The 5 fruit and veg a day was not a slogan that was thought up by any health agency and is not based on scientific research. It was thought up by struggling fruit and veg growers of California as marketing strategy to encourage more people to buy their produce. The eco-loons hijacked it and peddled it as being true without qualifying evidence. Then eco-loons do not need evidence as that gets in the way of their agenda.

@ Antisthenes

Some of SR's older readers may remember similar marketing slogans, such as:-

Sunblest bread's "Six slices a day, the well-balanced way."

Milk Marketing Board's "Drinka Pinta Milka Day"

DHMO
Yes, I recall that one common sense campaigner arranged for friends to attend a big environmentalists' conference in America and secured thousands of signatures on a petition to the federal government, calling for a ban on this dangerous substance by the Food and Drug Administration.

I use DHMO for shaving, it works quite well.

JRB needs an education in sodium fluoride - a poison given to prisoners in Nazi concentration camps and Soviet gulags because it made them docile.

More recent studies from China have shown that children growing up in fluoridated areas end up with IQs as much as ten points lower than those from non-fluoridated areas.

From the horse's mouth - here's Colgate's high fluoride toothpaste (normal Colgate Total has 1,450 ppm) Colgate Duraphat

"4.4 Special Warnings and Precautions for Use
Duraphat 5000ppm fluoride toothpaste is not intended for use in adolescents and children under 16 years of age.

"This toothpaste has a high-fluoride content. Therefore, the opinion of a dental specialist must be sought before the product is used.

"An increased number of potential fluoride sources may lead to fluorosis. In order to prevent the accumulation of fluoride, the total intake must be assessed before this fluoride toothpaste is ever used. Fluoride tablets, drops, chewing gum, gels or varnishes and fluoridated water or salt should be avoided during use of Duraphat toothpaste."

"4.9 Overdose
Acute intoxication.
The toxic dose, i.e. the lowest dose at which symptoms of intoxication can be induced, is 5mg fluoride per kg body weight. Such intoxication appears in the form of digestive problems: vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain. In extremely rare cases, it can prove fatal. Where a substantial quantity of the medicinal product is ingested accidentally, the patient will need to undergo gastric lavage immediately or vomiting will need to be induced; calcium needs to be taken (large amount of milk) and the patient will need to be kept under medical observation for several hours."

Well, I've known at least one person who used to eat toothpaste.

Of course, even normal fluoride toothpaste in the USA has warnings.

In 2006, 2006, "the prestigious National Research Council of the National Academies of Science released a 450-page review of fluoride toxicity. The report, which was three years in the making, concluded that the safe drinking water standard for fluoride (4 ppm) causes significant damage to teeth, and places consumers at elevated risk for bone damage, including bone fracture and joint pain. Because of this, the NRC recommended that the fluoride safety standard be reduced. In addition to its concerns about tooth and bone damage, the NRC identified a range of other health effects that may be associated with fluoride exposure, including damage to the brain, disruption of the endocrine system (thyroid gland, pineal gland, and glucose metabolism), and bone cancer."

Stewart,

I always thought that mass medication via the water supply was extremely dangerous in principle but thought that some of the anti- fluoride propaganda might be overdone. It seems I was wrong but like many people in the Sixties & Seventies I thought the authorities would not do anything really dangerous. I assumed their good intentions in those days of innocence.

In Ireland, the economic situation caused by the euro has produced a greatly increased suicide rate. At a thoroughly mainstream medical conference, a high ranking psychiatrist seriously suggested that LITHIUM should be added to the water supply to reduce this problem. He did suggest that it should be tried in different areas so that there would be control groups.

So we could eventually see a government campaign "Be happy! Drink more water!"

May I refer any interested party to the ‘Public Health Dept.’ formerly known as the ‘Health Protection Agency’ and their publication “Sodium Fluoride – Toxicological Overview”

Public Health Dept = https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/public-health-england

“Sodium Fluoride – Toxicological Overview” = http://www.hpa.org.uk/webc/HPAwebFile/HPAweb_C/1227169969666

The simple analogy I would give is that of ‘common salt’ ie sodium chloride
- small doses are essential for life.
- slightly higher doses we use to enhance the flavour of our foodstuff
- higher doses still, can kill.
- on an industrial scale it has many uses (some dangerous and some questionable)

So, be it sodium chloride or sodium fluoride, it is all a mater of degree

[As for the mass medication of the water supply – that is a separate ethical debate that certainly deserves an airing]

No offence, JRB, but if you believe the opinions of a Government department, you'll believe anything...

DHMO JRB. I have something somewhere on this. You should write a blog post about it and I'll link to it. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the link Joe. That's one I think I have but hope that others read it.

Rather link the global warming, global cooling then climate change scams Antisthenes.

Thanks Stewart for taking the trouble to post your research.
