Google have once again suggested I may like to use AdSense on this blog.
In the past I've always ignored such requests from them but thought I would ask your opinion this time.
Would it irritate you to see a few adverts in the right-hand column. If not have you any suggestions about the subject matter of adverts?

You deserve to be able to supplement your pension Rosie. After all, you provide hugely entertaining posts for your readership on a daily basis.
Besides, Google might as well distribute some of its earnings within the UK, 'cos is pays a far-lower % of its income to HMRC than you do.
Go for it.Might as well play with their money.
As for what ads, see what is showing on other similar blogs, if you get a choice.
What ones get the most clicks!?

Thanks all for your positive comments. If I get a choice I'll do for crime novels, history novels and perhaps ladies underwear. :)
I thought about it once but declined because its debatable how much income is actually earned, and I suppose you can festoon your blog with all kinds of ads that some will find distracting.
But try it and if you like the appearance then keep it.
Thanks for your opinion JJ. I must look into how easy it is to get rid of them. Have seen some blogs where they overpower the whole design.
