Climate Camp Edinburgh - Best Placard

As I mentioned the other day the eco-warriors are out in force in the RBS grounds near Edinburgh. Today is their 'mass-protest day' and this must be one of the best placards around.

Apart from it's entertainment value, it does make you wonder at the state of British education doesn't it.

Heh!

Mind you, at any peace march, there seems to be at least one dim bulb who has drawn up a banner with what they believe to be the CND symbol, only to find they are actually advertising Mercedes...

Aye Julia, I've seen that a few times. Used to make me smile, now it just saddens me.

Now if it said they rode Edinburgh trams then they would be really eco friendly. For the moment at any rate and for some considerable time to come.

Mrs S-E was giving a neighbour a lift to the airport this morning. Apparently there was much disruption (although she didn't get far enough in to see it) and long queues from Newbridge.

Mind you, if they've got some of the security management people still hanging on from a few years ago, they'll have it as 'under control' as the unwashed guilt-festers ever are. They're much less of a threat than the SHAC mob were.

Who needs oil when you "ride the bus"? I believe bus operators do!

Who needs brains when we have this lot.

That would be the horse-drawn bus, would it not? I recall seeing a picture in my school history book.

But, oh, are we not told by these good people that herbivorous quadrupeds produce prodigious quantities of greenhouse gas?

Too right RA. A friend who visited Edinburgh recently said she just couldn't visualise the trams running, such is the length of the project.

Ah SE, don't say that. I know someone who has to pick someone up from the airport later today.

Thankfully I don't have to run the gauntlet. My patience isn't what it used to be.

I wonder of the writer thinks buses run on milk Derek? Unbelievable. Makes a mockery of the whole protest. In fact, shows RBS in a favourable light the way they've managed it.

We do Apogee.
