A World Of Dreams Shattered.

I Know Airlines Come And Go But.....................

Christmas hurts. Many Companies run a financial calendar year. So if they have cash flow problems, the holiday becomes that time when they have to show their hand. Retail figures are horrendous and now this tragedy. Sadly, though this is a Scottish based operation, it is a sign of greater pain to come. Don't expect Labour to say that until after a rigged election of course.

As a retired aviation guy, I know that this will be a dreadful blow to passengers in the short term but the staff have my deepest sympathy. Like everywhere in this blighted land, jobs will be hard to come by. For the younger people there may be hope that one day we shall get back to normality and sensible growth.

The SNP in Scotland and The Tories in England may not be to everybody's taste but they could not be more awful than what Scotland has given us in Jimmy Nosepicker, Phony Tony and their chums.

If, a big if, The People had a real say and democracy worked, Banks would be very much smaller, mutuals and savings clubs bigger and common sense would rule. Not political pygmy brains and dictatorial tosspots.

Power to the people but only those with a brain!

Don't blame us for Tony, he said he was English to the Scottish Press, honestly.

Cash flow appeared to be the problem. Caused, I understand, by an etransaction clearing house not processing the cash through quickly enough to the airline. Banks again?

@Bugger

And you believed what a politician told you?
Always check the paperwork and if shaking hands always count your fingers afterwards.

Entirely agree with your last sentence OR. The past decade will be recorded as one of the worst in the history of Britain.

Except Jimmy Nosepicker and Tony Bliar were always working on a Tory Lite strategy. If we are being honest, we are seeing the end of the Thatcherite/Right Wing concensus which has dominated the past 30 years. I even heard Trevor Kavanagh denounce de-regulation on Radio 5 live yesterday.

SR,

This is the airline that was providing the airbridge to the Falkland Islands as Crab Air is busy elsewhere.

The good news is Alitalia have taken over as of this am - oh we're f@cked now!

A sad day, I enjoyed the banter onboard with a bit of Parliamo - I read above it's the banks again - time this dis-United Kingdom manned up and did something proper about it!

It is the last 12 years that have caused the mess we are in. Another Maggie would not have tolerated a fraction of the filth Socialism has been allowed to spread on this pitiful nation. Read the last line again, my dear fellow.

TD is a member of the people. Just. With a malicious brain as far as everyone else is concerned.

Thanks Brian. The author of this article will be tucked up in bed by now but I'm sure he'll respond later.
