I don't think folk in Paignton would have had any experience of driving on ice though Strathturret. Paignton is supposed to have the temperature of a mediterranean country.
Must admit I noticed the brake lights and the wheels being turned.
I know exactly where that is! I used to own a house at the top of the hill but kindly gave it away to my ex! Can't believe they jumped out of the car idiots!

That is a problem for the good folk in the southwest, few have much experience of driving on snow or ice and it is why the schools all closed down for a few days last Feb. The children could mostly get there but the staff all live a couple of towns away and feared to drive in an inch of snow.
My family lived in the south west for many years banned and I only remember once when the coast had snow. It was a complete novelty but it was many years ago.
