Is This the Next President of the USA?

Very little has been reported in the UK regarding Sarah Palin's address to the Tea Party activists last week.

The American press has covered it well and suggest this is the Republican's first step back on the campaign trail.

Her speech drew more than 240 journalists from around the world and an additional guests who paid $348 to hear her speak.

Mrs Palin could show our political parties a thing or two when it comes to fundraising. Her political action committee collected $1.4 million last year, the vast majority of it raised after she resigned as governor.

All Seeing Eye has his take on Mrs Palin.

What Will This Woman Do Next?

Sarah Palin and her husband Todd are to divorce. A National Enquirer story exposing previous affairs on both sides led to a deterioration of their marriage and the stress from that led to Palin's resignation as governor of Alaska.

She has recently purchased land in Montana and is considering moving the family there.

Is this the end of Sarah Palin's bid for the White House or just the beginning?

Update: The divorce is denied on Facebook

My feeling is that the US election was too much for her but I may well be wrong. She's a tough woman by all accounts.

So, don't be surprised if she does put herself forward in the next race to the White House. Forward planning and all that ...
