Scotland’s Future

I intended to write part of this on Saturday but the tragic event in Glasgow overtook any celebrations of St Andrew’s Day and discussion on independence.

What happened in Glasgow shows how a caring society reacts in adversity.  All credit to the emergency services too, they deserve the accolades contributed to them. May all who were injured recover and those who died rest in peace.

Here are a few bloggers who have posted on the White Paper.  Oh, in case you don’t know, you can receive a printed copy of the White Paper free of charge by telephoning 0300 0121909 or emailing whitepaper@booksource.net for a hard copy. There’s no postage involved as I wasn’t asked for card details.  The tome is quite heavy as I’ve already handled it in my local library which has been sent a few copies for ‘research purposes’.  Dare I suggest, even though you’re not too interested in the debate for one reason or another, you order a copy for ‘historic’ reasons.

Here are a few bloggers who have written about the independence debate in recent days.  If you know of others which may be of interest to us all, please give the link in comments.

I prefer a hard copy Ranty. Too restricting reading it online and also I can mark up the (many) sections I’ll like of course!!

The little I’ve read certainly is Aangirfan, however I’ll wait for the paper version and study it more closely.
