Sunday Morning Music
This winter birds were scarce in my garden. Usually I can't provide enough food for one day but the feeders hung full for a week or more at times.
But in the past couple of weeks normal service has resumed, with the two male blackbirds making themselves heard. I've yet to see the female blackbirds.
Blackbirds love apples. If you've any apples past their crunch date, cut it in half and put it outside. Hopefully it will attract one of our best song birds.

Feeders stayed filled! That's wierd, we have been regularly putting out two feeders during the cold weather and the birds in our garden will empty them both by lunchtime.
It's been strange this winter Woodsy. Seemed like the birds totally deserted the garden. There are 6 bird feeders and 2 for the squirrels and only the squirrel ones required regular filling.
Seems like things are coming back to normal now. All I can think is that another garden in the area was more attractive to them this winter.
