Yes they're a good band SR. The vocalist ( Kyle Falconer) was on a local radio station,Wave 102, the other week and said he did 2 weeks as a brickies mate. Maybe that's where he got the idea for the song. I think the experience was a bit of a shock as he had to throw bricks over to the brickie 'like you see on the telly' 'A house in the Ferry' in the song will be Broughty Ferry. Work hard and you can escape to the posh suburbs ;) The pub was the Bayview. Owned by his relative according to wiki.

I did think they were good. At least I could hear the words and they were perfectly in tune. A bonus these days. :)
