The vocalist ( Kyl...Yes they're a good band SR.<br />The vocalist ( Kyle Falconer) was on a local radio station,Wave 102, the other week and said he did 2 weeks as a brickies mate. Maybe that's where he got the idea for the song.<br />I think the experience was a bit of a shock as he had to throw bricks over to the brickie 'like you see on the telly'<br />'A house in the Ferry' in the song will be Broughty Ferry. Work hard and you can escape to the posh suburbs ;)<br />The pub was the Bayview.
