Afghanistan Casualty
The Ministry of Defence announced the death of another member of our armed forces last night.
The soldier belonged to the 1st Battalion, The Royal Welsh and he died yesterday after coming under small arms fire inthe Nahr-e-Saraj area of Helmand province.
His death takes the number of British personnel killed in this unwinnable war to 416.
No further information will be provided until his family give permission.

I fear, that before this conflict is over, that this may not be your last intimation of the death of an one of our serviceman.
Yet more families will have to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.
