Question Time

The BBC's Question Time comes from Glasgow this evening when David Dimbleby will joined by Jacob Rees-Mogg, Alistair Carmichael, Margaret Curran, Mike Russell, Cristina Odone and Brian Cox.

Four Scots, three of whom work outside Scotland and two London based guests. Quite a cast and it just could be interesting.

I hope to try a live blog - as I did on the night of the Holyrood elections - from 10.30pm because I find Twitter confusing when trying to follow different hashtags. Also being confined to 140 characters sometimes isn't enough!

Should anyone care to join in you're more than welcome. Come along anytime between 10.30pm and 11.30pm.

I'm looking forward to Brian Cox as the last time I saw him on Question Time he stood up for Scotland.

I will Subrosa - but I hope it won't interrupt my enjoyment of the continual live BBC coverage of the Scottish National Party Conference - you remember them, they were the ones that won a remarkable election last May and formed their second government? I'm not sure that the assault on my ears (my brain should remain intact)listening to Ms Curran and Mr Carmichael may be enough to send me north to Inverness on the late bus.

Should be a good laugh. Surprised George Galloway didn't get invited. Maybe he's still in Iran.
I wonder if they mention Glasgow Rangers who have banned LabourTV again. The last ban was over the splicing and dicing of Ally McCoist. The latest ban is over the 'muck raking' into Ibrox to be shown tonight on LabourTV.

It will be interesting to see how well informed those imported from London are this time Gedguy.

That's two of us Clarinda. :) I think the word shrill is quite descriptive in the circumstances.

I hope you're coming to join us RM. I'm not up to date with football exploits so would appreciate the company of a font of such knowledge.

Alistair Carmichael isn't all that bad, as LibDem MPs tend to go. That said, the one I am really looking forward to is our Education Sec Mike Russell. He is one of Holyroods pre-eminent men.

I must admit I was impressed by Alistair Campbell during the hustings Dean, but since he's been silenced. They can't like his open and honest style. The libdems I mean.
