Gordon Brown Resurfaces

No, he hasn't reinvented himself as a cheetah, but our ex-Prime Minister has made an appearance at an African Union summit in Uganda.

According to a report, he was seen sitting in the corner of a restaurant nursing a glass of water for an hour.

Nobody guessed that when he reappeared it would be in Uganda with a speech about Africa being the potential engine for global economic growth.

The decision will fuel rumours that Brown has his eye on the top job at the International Monetary Fund or the United Nations or a role as a special envoy, but it's also true that Africa's development and its economic progress are subjects which fascinate him. His track record is respected by African leaders.

Poor man still obviously worships Barack Obama. "I think you all know that President Obama spent some time as a community organiser before becoming a politician. I'm somebody who spent some time as a politician before becoming a community organiser," he said.

Which community does he intend to organise? He did his best to destroy community in Britain.

Mr Nitpick - The country is bankrupt thanks to Gordon.

Gordon Brown has proved how useless he is so if any of these organisations take this clown on then they deserve him.

You can't say the unemployment figures are down to Cameron Niko nor can Brown get too much credit for the growth. We're the last EU country to show decent growth.

Actually Byrne, I've avoided Mandy's Memoirs but your comment doesn't surprise me in the least. He idolised Obama (Brown that is!)

I don't expect you've seen the interview on the BBC Cato. Don't spoil your day by watching it.

He's angling for something 'big' in his eyes Billy. I mean, he's never mentioned Africa before as a priority has he?

Yeah, they both share a common achievement of completely f@cking up a country's economy.

Past tense noted.

So Gordon, us taxpayers no longer pay your MP's salary & expenses then?

Gordon Brown is someone who has spent all his previous time as a politician - he has never worked in his life - so he is looking for a position that he can keep on not having to work.

Amazing how you can have the delusion of being an economic genius by having a Degree in Labour party history - no wonder he wrecked the economy.

WOW! WHAT a claim to fame!!

Your ecconomic policies were admired by Mgabe, Gadhaffi, and a gang of "entrepreneures" giving people in the West, the chance to share in windfall discoveries of Oil ministers bank accounts.

His Mum must be REALLY proud of him!

"No, he hasn't reinvented himself as a cheetah" - but I thought he was one any way SR ( A Cheater - get it!!) Doh....anyway, could the man not just pull the covers over his head for the next 20 years and do us a favour by keeping "under cover" after the wonderful job he did saving the world.

After all, it'll be us and our children paying for it so I think an extended period of silence is called for from Dunderman
