A Mars A Day or Maybe Not

Mars have changed the packaging of their Mars Bar for the first time in its 78 year old history. The new wrapper is emblazoned with the flag of St George, complete with the red cross and three lions emblem on the right.

That'll be the sales of deep-fried Mars Bars reduced to next to nothing in Scotland! About time too. Thanks to England still being in the world cup some Scottish arteries may not clog quite so quickly!

It is not just the arteries that clog. Anyhow deep fried Kinnertons is far nicer.

You shouldn't be able to get these in Scotland, Rosa.

Scotland are still to get the traditional wrapper. And in Morrisons for a limited time you can buy a four pack for a quid! ;o)

Remember the "believe myarse" t-shirt last time?

That's true Demetrius. Kinnertons? I'm so out of date...

So they're doing a cheap offer to appease us Rab? I used to like Mars bars...

No Conan I don't but I expect many do. I'm not a football person.

Mind you Dundee United had better win on Saturday. :)

They won't sell in Wales either.

If they really wanted to put people off eating them they should put a picture of vegetables on the wrapper.

Many people wouldn't be able to touch them.

Foolish rebranding of a famous product just for the sake of a here today gone tomorrow football tournament that England will leave covered in shame anyway.

Back in 2006 we had the repsonse in Scotland to the "Believe" Mars bar.
As in Ma Arse.
