On Tuesday, the Scottish Greens launched their general election manifesto, saying there is a real chance of sending their first MP to Westminster.
Robin Harper MSP said the party had proven itself to voters at Holyrood. "Our fresh and radical politics can help move on from the age of the political dinosaurs," he stated.
The party said the possibility of a hung parliament opened the door to the Greens and Mr Harper added: "There is a strong possibility that Westminster will see its first parliament of minorities for decades."
I don't agree with some Green policies, such as their belief that man is completely responsible for climate change, but I wish them good luck. There are only 2 Green MSPs but they do contribute well above their weight in Scottish parliament debates.
