This afternoon the Daily Politics held a live Business Debate and no, your eyes don't deceive you, John Swinney the Scottish Finance and Business Secretary, was included. (Nothing to do with the SNP taking the BBC to court today of course).
I try not to post too many videos as most of us can record programmes, but I wasn't aware Scotland was included in this debate today until late morning. This is for those of you who may have been in a similar position.
The programme is split into three videos. This is the first. My fellow blogger Calling England has kindly posted the others at her place. You can view them here.
My MSP did a splendid job of showing the other participants that balanced parliaments can and do work effectively and also squashing the myth that an independent Scotland would never have been able to cope with the collapse of the two Scottish banks, which of course were regulated from London. That's the London where the Prime Minister refuses to even talk to Scotland's First Minister. It sure is a long way from London to Edinburgh.
None of the main unionist parties wants to work with others. They want total power. As decades have proved, total power is dangerous.
