Budget 2010 Live Blog

Thanks to G.O.T.

Tomorrow at 12.30pm I will be live blogging the Budget here. The Budget will be on all major UK television channels except for BBC1 which is broadcasting the delightful Bargain Hunt for those who don't want to know how much their tipple is going to cost from 6pm.

This is my first attempt at live blogging so please be gentle with me.

Even if you can only spare a few minutes to express your appreciation or rage at Alistair Darling's mutterings, you will be welcome. The Budget Live Blog which, apart from the opportunity to have your say, promises to be great fun as 10 blogs will all be hosting it simultaneously.

This 'chat' collaboration will be among A Tangled Web, All Seeing Eye, Barking Spider, Biased-BBC, Corrugated Soundbite, Dick Puddlecote, Governmentitus, Grumpy Old Twat, Man Widdecombe and myself. The other blogs are all highly recommended and if you haven't visited some of them before do take the opportunity to have a look.

To catch the live blogging come back here tomorrow (Wednesday) March 24 anytime after noon.

Hopefully I can make it, SR. I don't have telly, so sounds good. Please tweet a reminder because I'm getting old and forgetful.

I'm watching you.

I don't think anything he can do will make any material difference to egotistic me, unless the Polish lorry drivers put fag prices up as a result.

Stewart I will do my best and remind you around 11.30 - if I remember. :)

Well that's two of us Marvo. We'll enjoy each other's company and of course the company from the other 9 blogs.

Every success with your live blogg.

This ‘live’ blogging sounds an exciting and innovative idea, am sure we will see more of it as the great ‘debates’ and election approach.

Sorry I cant be with you on the day but will look forward to reading all the comments later that evening.

Hello John. Just click on it to read the rants. Remember, it was interactivity with 10 blogs including myself.

I think this is the first time a Scottish blog has tried it. Some English bloggers use it regularly for PMQs and Question Time.
