In the world of energy the Holy Grail is a power source that's inexpensive and clean. Bloom Energy launched their long-heralded Bloom Box this week.
Have a peek and if you're interested in a review one can be found here. The box in the video is the industrial type but there is a much smaller domestic box available. It's a snip at around £2,000 but don't throw out your boiler!

Tim Worstall has written quite a detailed piece about it. It's not so much an energy source as a very efficient fuel cell.
Ah Joseph I didn't see Tim Worstall's review before I wrote this. I did do research however.
