Nepotism French Style
British politicians aren't the flavour of the month at present, especially with all the 'I followed the rules' and 'Why should I pay it back?'
Think how you would feel about this if you lived in France.
According to Sarkozy's political party office, Jean Sarkozy 23,(pictured above), who is in his second year of a law degree at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, is 'the most legitimate' candidate to run Europe's largest office development
His possible - or even probable - appointment has caused a storm of protest and mockery in France, including an 8,000-name petition on the internet.
He'll get the job, no doubt about it.

I suppose we have had the bastard offspring of Thatcher, Tony Blair and his clones made out of his spare parts, Cameron and Clegg.
Brown was a genetic step too far and proved to be both regressive and sub normal .
So , why shouldn't Sarkozy be true to his loins? After young chap has a decided disadvantage in the visage dept.
SR its not through nepotism that the French show their degeneracy it's the Mitterand fils show and lack of apobrium that gives the game away.
Your post about "Teach Children to Read and Write" is answered by looking at what our European degenerates are up to.
Daniel Marc Cohn-Bendit?
Roman Polanski and Sarkozy getting all weepy?
Sarkozy couldn't help his wife's record get to number one. He needs to do something for the family or he'll stay in their bad books.
It just shows that the EU is run by a bunch of megalomaniacs!
I am just astounded that we are expected to be ruled by them.
Sue
I a sure that the French and the Germans have the same feeling about being run by Tony Blair.
Dear Subrosa
The French aspire to the same level of nepotism as the British.
I blog on this all the time, it is due to the rise of a corrupt political class that extends beyond mere politics.
Well spotted on this story.

I don't suppose there's anything wrong with Sarkozy being pushy with his offspring Billygoat. At least he's up front with it.:)
Ah Incoming, Mitterand is another story! I didn't have time to write a 2000 word essay lol.

Hi Tuesday. I didn't realise his wife's son lived with them - perhaps he can train him for president or head of Europe? Bet none of them joins the army though.
Sue I agree with Billygoat, don't think the French or Germans are too keen on Tone lording it over them.
Dear George
I suspect you're bang on although our nepotism is part of the darker world of politics and not to in your face (until discovered by some enterprising journalist).
"to run Europe's largest office development"
Are you sure he isn't going to be just a glorified caretaker?
I hope he turns up in a business suit and they hand him a mop and bucket and point him towards to the toilets.
No matter what you whingers and moaning minnies say Our Tony will be King.......Oops! i mean president
its all in the book of Revelation, chapter 17
Niko, if you think I'm going to dig out my bible from the depths of my dusty shelves at this time of night ...
Nostradamus, quatrain XX1V
And thus frem Sakarsys loin did spring
A new palace of Europa
twill be kinge
Somewhat opaque but the meaning is clear, in retropect.
The meaning's very clear banned. Excellent research too. Now I suppose I have to see of Sakarsy is the same lineage as Sarkozy - auch I won't bother it's too obvious isn't it.
Of course, whilst criticising the son of the French head of state for benefiting from a bit of good old nepotism, and for his less than perfect looks, it is worthwhile to consider that the head of state in Scotland has a son who is much much uglier, and who has benefited far far more from being who he is....
I mean, at some incredibly young age wasn't he made the Prince of all the Welsh and Colonel in Chief of various regiments. By anyone's standards fairly responsible jobs for a lad just out of his teens.
And in time won't he be king of Scots. God help us. Although I suppose it's marginally better than having that t****r Blair.
I really don't see why fils de Sarkozy's should be any different.
A head of state is a head of state and France is, I suppose, every bit as important as Scotland.
