Labour advert - David Cameron wants to cut public services

My thanks to Lobbydog who asks if this doesn't feel a little amateurish. Yes it does but it is essential to ensure equality and include each party's view. Wonder how the Libdems will respond.

What 'Gets' me it is central to The English Conservative belief.

Low tax and small Government with the Responsibility of the individual for themselves.

Which means a small public sector and much less money for them from the Tax payer.

so you get massive cuts in public spending and a consequent increase of money to the individual from less tax to spend how they want.

so why don't the Torys just say that whats the problem with them being open and honest?

why oh why do they struggle with it at least thatcher told you what she stood for........(WHETHER YOU AGREED OR NOT)

But then Cameron is no Thatcher more a Tony Blair clone.

Just goes to show Cameron and his crew are untrustworthy little gobshites

Did you make that Vid up ? Naws i ken you never coz you would had made a better job of it...

We all know David Cameron will make cuts but so will Labour. At least DC is being honest about it. GB is lying and last week on PMQ,s he kept belting out "10% cuts 10% cuts" he is like a warped record player stuck in the 10% track.

I honestly think the guy is near to a breakdown. His own party spivs are even telling him to shut up about the 10% Tory cuts. Scap Trident and IP cards then they will not need to cut anything.

Ah! the innocence of youth

The Torys will have spending cuts just to cause pain.........and make sure the wealthy stay wealthy

I just love the childish belief of socialists that all you need to do is keep raising taxes left, right and centre. I dropped Loobydog "following" because of its youthful, even childish, naivety.
Every penny spent by Government is from the back pocket of the many not the few. Most of this money is WASTED. There is a growing understanding in the sink estate ghettoes that after 12 years of Labour crap they are no better off.
To check out the disastrous result of Labour profligacy think about the job losses just announced by Corus or the rapidly approaching £200BILLION borrowing requirement to pay your bloated wasteful public wage bill and pension fund. That is borrowing over and above the tax take. When will some people get real. We are bust, broke, bankrupt, spent out. It's not about cuts, it's about SAVING.

If Labour were to get in... (OK, I know, but just bear with me and imagine it) either they would cut public spending or they would be told to cut spending by the IMF, as they were in the late 70s.

You can't go on having the biggest deficit in Europe forever...

And was it amateur...? yes... it looked like it was done on a shoestring, and it probably was because, as well as bankrupting the country they have also managed to bankrupt themselves.

Tris, perhaps they would have been better not to bother making a video to counteract the tories. Just a thought.

Given that we haven't got any money left and those mysterious 'investors' might soon stop lending us any more what is wrong with " cuts " ?
Start of with Quangos ( all of them ) and cull the outreach co-ordinaters later, if they haven't already got the message and left voluntarily.
