Blow Me Down with a Feather!

I've never paid much attention to my blog statistics as they're not important to me, but this morning I was talking with another blogger and he motivated into having a look at mine for the month of April.

Truthfully I'm quite speechless and can't believe 10,937 people visited this wee blog.  So may I thank each and every one of you for your interest.  It's quite humbling to know that my ramblings are so appreciated.

Don't worry I won't be posting monthly stats - this is a one off!

Thank you Aangirfan. Perhaps I shouldn't have published them but I was just so astonished particularly by such a loyal bunch of followers.

subrosa,

Thanks for the invite - I'll be round with the feather later!

Well done, girl, I'm not surprised. Niko and I can only summon 37 visitors between us and most of them are return visits from Cathy and Gordon.

Congratulations - you're huge.

(although it may be the cut of that dress) ;-)

It speaks for itself Subrosa. It's a good blog; it's interesting; it's varied, and you have the manners to respond to others' posts.

Altogether a nice place to come to read, learn and respond. Feels like home.

Well done.

Thank you Dan that's a very kind comment.

Ha ha Lochnagar. I publish comments as quickly as I can but I'm not on line all day in the least. In my need to finish with nicotine, whenever I think cigarette, I come on here for 5 minutes. So I suppose you could call it comment publication therapy :)

'Feels like home' - lovely thought. It's good to reply to folk thought tris, they've taken the trouble to comment after all.

Anyway I can't get a good argument with any of my friends - they're all tories ;)

Furious, you have the tact of both my ex- husbands!

Auch brownlie, maybe I shouldn't have made them public but I was so amazed. Really I thought it was possibly around 2-3000 a month if that. Hey you! I visit your blog as soon as you post something - and then some because what you do is always excellent. As for Niko, I visit his blog often too, it's called good manners ;)

Subrosa,

Aye I've been here for a month or two and have thoroughly enjoyed learning, commenting and chewin the fat!

It has enabled some of my appreciation of what's going on in ordinary life which is good to keep engaged in, work permitting.

I also enjoy reading some of the Blogs you and others have visited, which adds colour to the mix and to view other people's opinions, then making informed choices on what is ones' position or should I translate " a ken fit yer spikin aboot wifie!"

Congratulations or as we say in Napoli Complementi Agurri!!!

Ta laddie as is said in posher areas of Dundee. I'e only been doing this since around the middle of January and as I said to another commenter, it's certainly cut down my intake of nicotine for which I'm very grateful.

I've enjoyed writing it more than I thought was possible because I do miss talking politics with an old friend who moved south. Now I'm left with tory friends who think talking politics is taboo. They show their age I tell them!

Like you it's good to read different opinions which broaden your own thoughts on a subject.

I'm please to hear I help you keep one foot in civvie street - most important that you do.

No WW, it's others who inspire me including yourself. I just post my thoughts, usually acquired when gardening, driving or ironing.
