Someone once noted that there are more people in Scotland who think Elvis is still alive than vote Tory. I look forward to the day when the same is true of Labour.

I don't know how to respond to that Vronsky. Is it because us Scots wear rose tinted glasses or because our education system is sadly lacking, who knows.

As you will have gathered my old school pal adored the man. I had to sit through his films with her from afternoon until the last showing. That's in the days when you could go around 2pm and still be there at 10pm.

I'd have not watched much of the film, Subrosa!

I don't think I did OR, it was bad enough she also liked Frankie Vaughan! Perhaps that's where I learned to sleep anywhere.

We danced a traditional waltz for the bridal dance, but 'Just Can't Help Believin' made it onto the wedding CD.

The wonder of you is simply a song about my wife.

The King certainly lives on in my heart ;-)

Jim what a compliment to your wife. I do hope many of my readers think the same. May you both live a really happy life.
