Derek Draper - Labour's Answer to Blogging

Just couldn't resist posting this courtesy of dizzeythinks.  Labour have set up a blog, which they think will blow every political blog out of the blogosphere.

It's managed by the unshaven Labour yes-man Derek Draper.   Has nobody had the courage to tell the man you can over-promote something?

Decide yourself but I'm not responsible for any hysterical laughter which may result.

Niko, you'll love this :)

Derek is right about one thing although he used the term sub group when a more accurate one is sub culture...

I don't believe he knows the difference.

“In order to ensure an insightful, engaging debate we will also place other comments judged to be grossly unintelligent or obtuse or Trolls in our trash can."

Oh well that's me done for....

Are you insinuating Derek Draper is thick niko? I can't believe your judgement is so accurate.

Labourlist is rubbish and always will be when the main contributors are the controllers of the government.

I keep an eye on Labourhome which has grassroots comments.

ps I agree you're done for - me too :)

Drooper either has an hereditary deficiency in the intelligence department or suffers from some sort of personality disorder. His writings are embracingly devoid of normality and understanding of people and the world. His appearance of unwashed, untidy oaf shouts out social outcast.

Morning Tory Boy, even I can produce a better blog than Draper. The excuse is that it's still in beta but I don't understand why. Imagine your bosses doing all the articles on you 'blog'. The man's stuck in 'newsletter' mode still.

TS, agree there's a general problem with the man, but don't you think he must have something on quite a few people to still be allowed a high profile within the labour party? Only reason I can think why he's back in the fold.

subrosa,

Probably similar reasons as to why the good lord Mandy is back in the fold.

Brownlie, very true. What do you think about the Tory reshuffle and do you think it will affect the Scottish tories at all?

The man's a tool.

Derek Draper ? Small time nobody.

Hello SU, good to see you. DD may be exactly that but how does he manage to be so 'inside' the labour party? Well maybe outside the inside if you know what I mean.

He doesn't quite fit the handmade cashmere suit and weekly haircut image does he. He would say it doesn't matter but it does.

I like my politicians to look good, dress classically and answer me when I write to them.

Scunnert do you mean the man's a rake? (The younger readers won't get that scunnert).

A Rake? Naw he just trowels the internet.

(Scottish Unionist is a Fakey subrosa)

Just caught your post on dressing classically.

I've got a toga.

Mind you it doubles as a bedsheet.

subrosa said...

Conan, yer an awfy man. How you can wear a 'fitted' toga I just don't know. Doesn't the elastic dig in?

I kind of thought SU was a fake Conan, thanks for telling me. The real SU wouldn't consider posting on a nationalist blog unless it was a matter of life or death.

Good riposte to my gardening question!
