Scotland's Boys Clubs

Firstly let me apologise for the lack of posts the past couple of days. I have a problem with one of my corneas and the medication involves a pupil dilator, the same drops the opthalmic doctor puts in to examine the back of your eye. I'm told that helps keep the cornea together but vision is affected and because they cause photo-sensitivity, looking at television or a computer screen is nearly impossible. At least my problem will improve in a few days - some people who attend the Ninewells Eye Clinic have sight problems which will only deteriorate no matter how much care and treatment is available.

Excuses over!

Some of you may have noticed I've posted a couple of articles from the Scottish Review recently. Kenneth Royle, who is the editor, has come up with another cracker. His investigative journalism leaves many Scottish journalists in the shade.

This one is entitled 'The all-male clubs paid for by us' - another real eye-opener which addresses the reason for the gender disaster in Scotland's public bodies. It all begins with Scotland's boys clubs...

(For those who were interested in my recent post regarding Scotland's Hidden Judges, Scottish Review has had some interesting responses.)
