You wouldn't believe how often I've tried to 'modernise' this blog. I've now succumbed to my ignorance of technology and will stick with the present format.
But the past couple of weeks I've have been aware some of my readers' blogs are not mentioned in my blogroll and they're far too polite to say. I apologise for my indolence but here's your chance. If you'd like to be part of my spring clean email me or put your URL in the comments.
I'll continue on my quest to expand this blog, although I'm partial to the present design (purely because I'm scared to modernise it), but for us older folks HTML is like saying organic is our food source. To explain that for younger generations 'organic' food didn't exist back in the 50s, 60s and 70s because most food was grown organically and that meant without an abundance of chemicals to improve grown.
I'm sounding like a grumpy old woman. I make no apologies. There are too few of us who make our voices heard, but as life goes on younger generations will realise they will eat according to our country's natural productivity. In this part of Scotland folk can always freeze berries and fruit from late summer and yet have a plentiful supply of root vegetables all winter long. Thankfully Burns Night is at this time of year because if it was in summer we would be eating haggis and neeps with salad!
