Scottish Labour Leadership Poll - update
The Scottish Branch of the Labour party leadership contenders has changed since the above poll. 43% of you thought A N Other would be the next leader with Mr Murphy following closely behind.
I’ve placed a new poll over there >> with the confirmed candidates. There appears to be an tinge of arrogance in Murphy’s television interviews this week.
Will he be good or bad for Scotland?

For some reason, the only thing that springs to mind is that wonderful one-liner from Rhett Butler to Scarlet O’hara
"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn"
Isn't there something called "Murphy's Law"?
Do I gather from your cryptic comment that you think Labour will never recover JRB? :D
Demetrius, yes there is. Does it apply to this man? Who knows.
As Murphy would appear to be the "Scottish" Labour leader how is he going to convince Scottish voters that Labour will not adopt more right-wing policies in order to attract potential UKIOP voters?
Whoever becomes leader of the north british sub branch of the london labour party will, as ever, continue to sell Scotland down the establishment river, and to hell with whoever voted for them, as long as their expenses and other vast priviliges remain unsullied...
No Subrosa- I simply think that he cares not a toss as to which particular numptie will head up the north british sub branch of the london labour party, since whoever wins will continue to treat the Scots with the contempt with which the unionist parties have always done from time immimorial...
I doubt if he will John.
Exactly Dunwerkin.
