Sunday Morning Music

Barbara Dickson always mentions this isn't one of her favourite songs yet audiences hanker for it.  I love it. It calms me.

Thanks Rosy. This has brought back some memories! I have always thought that Barbara Dickson was a hugely under-rated singer, and this song is one of those that lodged in my brain, only to pop out and declare itself at unexpected moments. This is a lovely song (provided you remember that the caravans concerned are camel trains and not twin-axled gin palaces) and I find it quite haunting. Your post made me day. Thank you.

Sunday morning music?

There is only one Barbara Streisand ... only one :)

Bring on those clowns! (has to be the creepiest comment I've ever typed to be honest, I always disliked clowns as a kid)

A pleasure Richard. I was trying to transfer my iTunes from my old Mac and that song was the only one to come across. :)

Barbara still tours. Every time she comes to Perth I'm there for her autograph. Sad eh? :)

I think you mean Barbra Streisland Dean.

Barbara Dickson is a Scottish singer and as Richard says, quite possibly under-rated, but she has an enormous following. Her concerts are usually booked out.
