Sunday Morning Music

Remember this man?  He took the music world by storm in the 80s with Annie's Song.

Back in the days when I used to have Sunday papers delivered, I enjoyed a couple of leisurely, self-indulgent hours reading while listening to the likes of James Galway.

Ah, those were the days.

I always associate James Galway with chilled tall glasses of gin and tonic while watching the red sun setting slowly from a restaurant balcony in peaceful Salamanca.

Fond memories.

I used to love reading the Scotland on Sunday with my coffee and bacon rolls. Distant memories now. I wish there was a newspaper we could buy that wasn't biased and just told things as they were. I think most folk just read their computer bookmarks instead.

The ad that came up offered me marriage to a wide choice of Ukrainian ladies. Apart from that Galway was always good for the money, live as well as on TV. Is the tune also "Morning has broken"?

Ah Chef, sounds what I call a subliminal moment.

Yes Monty, according to my newsagent the sales of Sunday papers has dropped drastically in the past 3 years.

Dearie me Demetrius, my apologies for upsetting your Sunday morning with such indelicate advertising. :)

Are you suggesting Annie's Song is the same melody as Morning Has Broken? If so you're wrong. :)
They start on different notes although they key could be the same.
