The Third Death This Month

On Friday a British soldier was killed in Afghanistan.

Twenty year old Guardsman Jamie Shadrake was serving with the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards and was killed while on sentry duty.

Three British soldiers have now been killed in Helmand this month and all were expected to return home to the UK in the next few weeks. Our armed forces death toll in this war is now 425.

David Cameron's promise of a withdrawal from Afghanistan is due to begin next month and an increase in the number of attacks against members of ISAF (the International Security and Assistance Force) has been predicted, especially in the south of the country.

Another tragic, yet pointless death. Politicians of all parties who support this futile war should hang their heads in shame.

My thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of this brave man.

On another point I sent you an email, Subrosa, did you get it?

And another sad aspect of this story is:

"I find it distasteful that a problem castigated by those that had a hand in creating it is classed as being more important than that of someone giving their life in order that the ‘minnows’ of our society can continue with their stupid games."

This tragedy of the UK's involve due to Blair's lies and slavish devotion to that clown Mr. Bush continues to drag on. Large chunks of the population do not even want US and UK troops there. Look at what is happening to the Yanks. Their troops are suffering more deaths from local police officers or the Afghan military trainees they are trying to turn into a proper army. It happened again just recently. Some Afghan went into a gym and shot three unarmed US marines whilst they were defenseless doing push-ups and other exercises. I wonder if these types of "friendly deaths" are being inflicted on British troops as well?

Politicians have no shame strapworld.

I'm having problems accessing my gmail account. Did you send it there? If so, could you please resend it to my yahoo one if it's not too much trouble? Many thanks.
