Neighbours of 24-year-old Zbigniew Filo were so angered by the boy racer's dreadful driving, they decided to teach him a lesson.
One of the villager's mobile cranes was borrowed and the Ford Escort placed in a willow tree, under the cover of darkness.
Police spokesman Marta Pierko said:
'We received a call from a man saying his car was stuck in a tree, and that his neighbours had put it there.
'After inspecting the site we instructed him to remove it from the tree.'
One local added: "Perhaps he'll think twice about his hair-raising driving and about getting a licence or who knows where his next car might end up.
There's not a week goes by in the local Sheriff Courts here without a few eastern Europeans, the majority Poles, being found guilty of driving without a licence, insurance and/or a current vehicle tax disc. It would seem it's acceptable behaviour in Poland.
Well done the local Polish police. Here our police would have wasted hours trying to discover who was responsible for rearranging the car's parking spot and would charge them with theft, damage of property, possibly trespass and other criminal behaviour. There's a lesson here not only for silly young unlicenced drivers.

Looks like a Mk3 Escort circa 1986ish. They were real rust buckets. Must have been tanning it to make it 'boy racerish'.
I managed to hit a tree in my Mk2 Escort ( with go faster stripes) without the aid of a crane.
The Mk1 Escort Mexico was my favourite.
Have a care Rosa, or we may have to attach 'No Parking' signs to trees.
That's how the Big Society should work: the Police are the People and the People are the Police, to paraphrase Peel.
A car weighs over a ton I don't think that tree was intended to carry that kind of weight. Who knows what damage these childish idiots have done to it!
Agriculture, transport and elf n safety are all EU Competencies.
Von Rumpey will have someone for this outrage.
"There's not a week goes by in the local Sheriff Courts here without a few ..... Poles, being found guilty of driving without ....... insurance and/or a current vehicle tax disc. "
Mr Prawo Jazdy certainly gets around.
Ford dealership ‘branches out’ in Lubczyna, Poland.
Large amounts of EU funding expected to cover start-up costs.
I hope it doesn't fall on someone.
That would be even more serious than boy racing....which I have to say happens all the time here.
No one should be allowed to have a car until they are 40 and have got over all that, and when they are 60 they should give it up before they become lethal.
Just think how much nicer the air would be.
When I was a kid I was done for having no insurance (it never occurred to me that I needed it,) and speeding. The stupid plod failed to notice that I was as drunk as a puggy too!!!
I used to have an Escort RM. Company car. Was sooped up and perhaps the best car I've ever driven.
Here there would be multiple prosecutions Crinkly and not of the car owner.
It should Brian but unfortunately it doesn't.
The tree will survive no doubt Munguin.Perhaps if the lad hadn't have had such a wake up call he may have had victims who didn't survive.
Interesting point RM.
Good one Joe!
No doubt JRB, no doubt.
It appears to be in a large garden or field Tris.
You didn't know you needed insurance? Jings. My father spelt out the cost of owning a car before I was 17. I bought my first car at 18 and discovered the costs were even worse than he said.
