Thanks for that info Lupus. Fake or not it's very clever don't you think.
Although you've removed your comment RM it was interesting indeed.
The original is better, and funnier.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CkSjE8xyYI
It is SadButMadLad and thanks for the link.
Gerry Anderson and Thunderbirds did that back in the Sixties, landing Fireflash on top of three diesel-powered buggies.Of course, a modern jet airliner touches down at over 100mph, no way a truck could get up to speed that quickly.
<a href=" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvQVl2NfO3A> This is how one lands a B-727 without a nosewheel.</a> Captain Hooshang Shahbazi was grounded for two months late last year. The damage to the aircraft will polish out.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOCmI72eRh4There we are, how to do it with a very long runway and a lot of strings.
I wasn't a Thunderbirds fan Dave but it doesn't surprise me it was 'done' in such a programme. You're right though. It would take longer for a small vehicle such as that to achieve the relevantspeed.
I see it's all a question of balance Brian. :)
Thank you Dave. Much appreciated.
