Gerry Anderson and Thunderbirds did that back in the Sixties, landing Fireflash on top of three diesel-powered buggies.

Of course, a modern jet airliner touches down at over 100mph, no way a truck could get up to speed that quickly.

I wasn't a Thunderbirds fan Dave but it doesn't surprise me it was 'done' in such a programme.

You're right though. It would take longer for a small vehicle such as that to achieve the relevantspeed.
