The programme started off well by comparing Scotland to Norway and then it was spoilt by the guest who totally ignored Scotland and spoke only about the UK. In terms of the UK he is right but the programme he was meant to be discussing was about Norway and Scotland. I noticed that the presenter was quite content to allow the prof. to make the comparison of Norway's wealth with the UK spending, but not in comparison to Scotland.

It makes me weep for the future we might have had if we hadn't been tied to a country that wants to run the world.
You listen to that fool Cameron witter on about how Britain can be great. Who bloody cares about being "great".
Let's pay of the damn debts, and then save the money for the day when it all goes down the tubes.
1% of the world's stock markets. Yes diminished since last year at this time, but still fabulous wealth for 4 million people.
Bloody Britain. Managed by a PR executive... I spit on it.

Ahhh, the good old impartial BBC, eh..?
Once again some simple arithmetic distorted by an economist.
That's why I mentioned the BBC Gedguy.
It's frustrating Tris but hang on in there.
You got it Julia. Good for you. :)
