I knew about the Canaries. It's a language thing. If you know the Spanish for dog, you're laughing. Most of the rest, I knew were not the obvious answer, but I didn't know the real answer.

Originally Chinese Gooseberries were from China and still grow wild there.Imported to NZ as seeds in 1906.
