Re "Off The Ball", yesterday at London Bridge a number of Millwall fans boarded our train. They had been playing a "friendly" against Charlton Athletic. Whether Millwall against Charlton could ever be "friendly" is an interesting question. Also, playing at Millwall has its concerns for visiting fans of any team. However, the conversation was not about the game, it was entirely about footballers wages. I was not aware that some of our most famous footballers have such odd personal habits.

Somehow, I doubt it... my pick...another devious way to distance citizens through technoilogy from the errand boys & girls who work as Politicians due to most likely a defective gene or a bad habit of lieing or even better, of talking endlessly and leaving people wondering what the hell they said after, but relieved that they have quit talking.

Kind regards from an American with a wee bit of Scottish blood in the vains,
Mike

Pleased to hear football supporters have woken up to the wages their 'heroes' receive Demetrius. Maybe they'll start making bigger waves and manage to influence the wages these men receive.

Hi Mike, good to see you. Agree with you about the relief we get when they stop talking. If only they'd speak sense we wouldn't mind.

Thanks Aangirfan. Doing away and enjoying the sunshine this week. As a friend said a few days ago "We're like creaking gates". My answer was "It's ok so long as our hinges don't rot." :)
