Hi SR
I've tried to access 'Wind Energy's Ghosts', but get:-
Not Found - Error 404
First 3 links are Error 404 SR. V
Thanks folks, I'll look into it.
I've managed to correct two of them but sorry, the It's Life link seems to be inaccessible. No idea what happened because they worked fine when initially published.
I blame it on Blogger. :)
Thanks again for letting me know.
The most-telling section in the Wind Turbine posting is:-
"Developers often set malfunctioning turbines to "virtual" mode -- blades spinning without generating electricity -- in order to ........ give passing drivers an illusion of productivity."
Ah Joe, that's what caught my attention too. I did have a rake around to see if there was any mention of it for UK windmills but didn't find anything. Somewhere someone must have addressed this here in the UK though.
A huge thank you for the link.
A pleasure LotF.
