Interesting video SR, seen/heard tht chap before.

In answer to your question: "What is a right war", my response would be the minute anyone, armed or not, sets foot in my country and starts dictating to me how I should live. Unfortunately I have to qualify even that definition as it seems we already elect quite a few!

Needless to say, presently "my country" is the United Kingdom - but no doubt that would provoke another discussion...... :)

WfW but the UK will still exist when Scotland gets its independence as we will still have the same queen. The only difference is we will have choices at presently denied us.

Only a 'War' that effects and is solely engaged in by politicians and their masters.

Now WfW, we're still joined at the hip (or should that be bank balance).

Hear, hear. An invasion of these islands by a hostile country constitutes war for me. Mind you, invasion doesn't have to mean soldiers and ammunition these days does it?

Now there's an idea Crinkly. Imagine if they went back to the days when leaders led their armies into battle?

Todays politicians leading a charge? They'd be shot in the back so everyone could go home.
Simplistic, but close to the truth methinks.

Into the valley of debt rode the six hundred.

Well, six hundred and fifty, but who's counting?

Closer than we may imagine Derek.

Oh Crinkly, I'd count each and every one of them. :)
