Global Warming Strikes Dundee

Yesterday afternoon Dundee was the recipient of a thunder and lightning hail storm which resulted in the streets flowing with ice cold water.

Yet the warmists insist the onset of a mini Ice Age "... will be disguised by global warming." I'll wait until around March before I comment.

Ha ha. I love the cool dude at 3mins 40 secs in shorts and t shirt and sandals.
Those tree and flower planters in that street finally became useful. Slowing down the global warming ice flow. Usually just slowed down and obstructed traffic.

Aye I saw him too RM. It was horrendous I'm told and the water freezing with hailstones underneath it.

I can recall snow in July in Ayrshire. I am not sure whether this meant global warming or global cooling.

Ideal weather for the Green (Welly) brigade.

Subrosa, Thanks for the link to the Solar Forecast/Global warming Article, it made me laugh.

The fact that it contains this gem of a sentence (about the link between solar activity and Terrestrial weather):

"Of course, as any statistician will tell you, correlation does not imply causation."

Without a hint of irony, it uses the argument that people use to disprove AGW theory to debunk the solar activity link to global weather.

Maybe they should take a closer look at the link between CO2 and global warming? A bunch of statistics on a graph that roughly correlate isn't a definitive link.

I've known snow in the hills here in early May Demetrius but never such a hail storm in Dundee. Because it's by the sea it has slightly milder weather I think.

Ayrshire? With the gulf stream running past it? Don't tell the AGW bunch. :)

I doubt if anyone had wellies on Joe, unless it was some toddler who insisted they wear them day in and day out.

Del, I'm glad I made you laugh. Made my day.

Irony's not in their vocabulary as we know.
