I've spent a lot of time and energy over the years to mobile computing solutions.
Since the early 80s I've tried a compaq portable which was suitcase sized with a tny screen, 7Kg laptops, mini Sony laptops, Ipaqs, Ipads, tablets, Iphones, Blackberrys, E PCs, PCs , Macbooks you name it.
Travelling around the UK, Europe and the USA trying to reduce weight, have the right data available, find connections that work etc. etc. etc. Stuff comes and goes.
It's been an interesting journey and like all this in the computing world the best is yet to come. It's just a year away. Soon.
I hope this actually happens and that it is as good as the animation shows.
It is a great idea Julia. Not for me though because I'm not on the move so much and wouldn't benefit from it really, but I like the idea of the whole piece being used as a monitor.

What will they think of next? Possibly honest, principled politicians?
I had a wee look at it on a video John but it wasn't too obvious what the changes were. Will wait a few months once it's come out.

Brilliant idea! No more turning the keyboard over and whacking it to remove ceumbs, skin cells, dust and eyelashes... ;)
