BBC's Leaders Debate
I have a ticket for the BBC's Leader Debate taking place in Perth concert hall today. Bums have to be on seats by 4.30pm or latercomers will be left out in the desert heat (it's 22 in my garden at present).
The programme will be broadcast on BBC1 Scotland at 10.25pm. Such a shame it's not going UK wide. The BBC still refuses to acknowledge there are people outside Scotland who are interested in Scotland's politics.
Of course BBC Scotland can be found on Sky for those who subscribe to it or online.

I look forward to seeing you Rosa;¬)
Bums on seats at 4:30pm, so I'm guessing proceedings will start around 5pm and finish at 6pm. Four and a half hours to edit the programme to make Iain Gray look good - I don't think they'll manage it.
It's ridiculous. Even last year's Scottish "Leaders" Debate (featuring one party leader, a secretary of state, the only Tory MP in the land and a man who was been passed over twice as secretary of state) was on at a more reasonable time, and that was largely irrelevant. BBC, either have it on at a reasonable time, as close to live as possible, and with Isobel Fraser in the chair, or just don't bother.
Emigrants south o' the border can utilise iPlayer.

Even with four and a half hours some things cannot be achieved. ; )
The impossible can be done now, miracles take a little longer.
Hope you enjoyed.
I wish I'd known you were going Conan. Was an interesting event wasn't it? Good to see so many young people there too.
It could quite easily have been put on at peak viewing time of course Doug, but the BBC has its own agenda.
Of course Joe. Sorry, I forgot iPlayer.
He was a sad sight Jo.
I did thank you Strathturret. It's some years since I've been to a BBC recording and certainly the technology has improved but not as much as I expected.
They were missing one leader:

;-)
No UKIP they were missing two. Patrick Harvie of the Greens ought to have been included.
