Spineless Cameron
I was reluctant to post this video because Mr Fiorilli and his pampered colleagues reduce me to grinding my teeth out of anger.
David Cameron says he will veto the 4.9% increase but has not said he would only support a freeze.
Last year the money-grabbing EU wanted 5.9% and he demanded a freeze, yet he had to accept a 2.9% because we have really have no influence in the EU machine. The only country which does is Germany because it is the country which is has stuck to its manufacturing base, although it is even penalised for that.
The Daily Tale has a short list of ludicrous EU projects for which we pay while our pensioners die of hypothermia and our seriously ill are denied fast treatment for cancer. Some other EU countries beat us hands down on heath care, particularly France.
Please don't read the link if you have blood pressure problems.

Spineless and brainless I think SR.
Mr Smug V Mr Mug.
Complications by design to feed the gravy train.
The EU doesn't fund anything - it's the member nations' cash. So why don't they just keep their money and fund these projects directly. No need for the EU nomenclatura.
I was going to answer' well dressed' WfW, not few of them are these days. Their jackets are too tight. Anyone can see that when they insist upon buttoning the middle button and the shirt and tie are visible.
Am I being pedantic?
Great stuff Crinkly. Cameron couldn't give a xxxx of us.
Exactly McGonagall. We have no need for this self appointed organisation whatsoever.
Ah, if we talking sartorial elegance SR, then not many men know that their socks should be the same, or as near as dammit, to the colour of their trousers!
Next time you see a man sitting down just look at his socks and trousers - it is utterly amazing!
What Cameron and the Treasury don't understand is that in most countries, except the UK and USA, you are expected to bargain. The price suggested for an item in a shop is generally a price for discussion, one normally offers about a quarter and starts to walk out. One probably ends up paying about half the suggested price.
This man wants a 5% increase, Cameron should respond by suggesting a 20% decrease, followed by symbolic walking out of the discussions. If he was any good, he'd get at least a 5% decrease!
WfW, I have a friend who wears white socks with everything. What does that say about him? :)
You're right EP but there will be no discounts will there?
Socks???
The question that we should really be asking ourselves is - do these people really understand reality or are they intent in starting the third world war. But this time it will be the rich against the poor?
This makes my blood boil because of OUR so-called government. This man's opinions should have no bearing on us because we shouldn't be in the EU. The people who have brought us to this situation are guilty of treason and should be tried for it. Why the delay?
They have a determination to have another world war Crinkly. Of that I now have little doubt.
The delay is the apathy of the people Stewart. Ask any SNP member and they'll shake their heads in disgust if you mention withdrawing from the SNP. They don't see it.
