Libya: The Longer The Fighting The Better?
Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya is an expert in Middle Eastern and Central Asian affairs. He believes the European economy is being remodeled as the EU drives itself further into the orbit of the US and backs away from Russia, which, he says, is an actual dependable and stable form of energy for Europe.

The sad part is he could be right; and their isn't enough trust in the western authorities to believe he's wrong.
That said his advocacy for Russia and China et al to be honest brokers is equally naive to the point of whimsy.
In a corrupt world the Libyans, like the rest of us will just have to fight for their version of sanity.
I wish them luck; it's something we all need.
I know it's a totally un-Christian thought, but there are times when I think that the longer the fighting goes on and the more of the combatants that get killed, the better place the world will be.
Historically, the only reason tribes stopped fighting each other in northern Europe was when they realised that even the winner often lost more than he gained and there were better ways of resolving problems. The inhabitants of Libya, and indeed many other countries have still to learn this obvious truth, and they are unlikely to do so until they find it out for themselves.
This, and all of Mr Nazemroaya’s articles, might carry more credibility if they were not so heavily biased and so blatantly pro-Russian.
The use of the ‘Russia Today’ channel as a vehicle for his arguments somewhat defines Mr Nazemroaya’s biased standpoint.
NATO has Nazi origins.
It's interesting that we now have to use RT to get the truth, as the BBC is run by fascist propagandists.

Crinkly he could be right. At least RT give a view rather than the continual whitewashing we have from our own parliaments.
And that's exactly why we shouldn't be involved EP. Well said.
Of course he's pro-Russian JRB, as much as Alex Salmond is pro Scots but that doesn't necessarily nullify his argument.
Surely it's worth listening to other views.
Many are turning to RT to get some quality of argument Aangirfan as you know. We no longer have a quality news broadcaster in this country.
