The Global Warming Circus Australian Style
In the past few weeks of most enjoyable weather for this time of year, I've expected to hear at least one global warming expert pop up in the media and say, "We told you the world is warming," but no - It's very quiet on the global warming front isn't it? Hardly a word from those experts who only a few months ago were determined to convince the sceptics that they are an ignorant, uninformed danger to the future of the planet.
The Australians seem to have reached a conclusion. Then again, they have a sovereign government and parliament and are not in the control of the EU. Says it all.

One thing bout the Aussies is that they don't suffer fools gladly. The Greens aren't too popular following the Queensland floods, with their predictions of long term drought and their opposition to building more dams and reservoirs on the basis that there would never be enough water to fill them.
Unfortunately they have AV in Australia, which seems to give them a permanent coalition government with minority parties having undue influence..
HI SR. Sorry to report that Australia have not got rid of all the Global warming loons , now this grant earner has crawled out of the woodwork.

Hi EP. The coalition in Australia is very much a mutual survival agreement between the Liberal/Country party as was, and the Liberal/National party as is. The Liberal party historically always made sure the country party was happy for the votes, there was usually only + or - two percent of the total vote between Labor and Liberal/CP at a Federal election and both parties knew a fall out was suicidal. And the size of a seat could be ,inner city 80k,labor usually, to country party, as low as 5k, but remember the area covered in the "bush" was vast. The wheeling and dealing used to be incredible, the benefit of the electorate was very secondary to the party! Just like here!
The joke used to be it wasn't one man , one vote, it was one sheep, one vote.
"I've expected to hear at least one global warming expert pop up in the media and say, "We told you the world is warming,""
British based warmistas are keeping their heads below the parapet. The majority of the public is now far-less susceptible to their propaganda.
March 10-11 is about 9% colder (degree-days) than the 20-year average.
[OK it's weather rather than climate, but as Mr Tesco tells us, every little helps.]
Yes EP, the AV system does make a difference there.
Oh Apogee, you always come up with something to contradict my posts. :)
Of course there are always fools. Unfortunately many of them make big money from their stupidity.
They are Joe and I find that strange especially since the Holyrood elections mention renewables a great deal.
Isn't it Asda who says every little helps?
Hi SR, Sorry , I wasn't trying to contradict you, honest, I saw the article just after reading your item, and I have to say, my thought was, J***s, more vermin will be eating the feedstock,(AKA our cash). I regret to say that the only way to stop vermin is the shotgun, and we should perhaps include the wasters that allow the vermin to thrive. The ozone hole has been studied for sixty years, this is so obviously a grant scam
It should be stopped now. We hear rumours that CO2 was a guess back 25 years ago and it got out of hand, is this to be the next?
Hi SR: Another thing about Australian AV voting, remember its compulsory, so what does that give us, the clowns that go 1,2,3,etc down the page, the Donkey Vote. Average of 10% of voters.
And we wonder why politicians think we are thick !
Hi Apogee, contradict me all you want. It's called discussion. :)
Now that something those who mention the Australian AV system fail to mention.
Hi SR, want an alternative Australian voting system? try this one......
