What is the difference in the two photographs, apart from the fact they've been taken years apart?
The one above was taken back in the 60s by a visitor to Loch Ness. The one below was taken very recently by a visitor to Lake Windermere and has been hailed as 'the best yet' photo of English Nessie.

A word of warning to snappers. The English photograph can't be verified because it was taken by a mobile phone camera. Seems we don't have the technology to determine the authenticity. I know quite a few who would disagree with that statement but I'll wait to see if there are further 'sightings' of the Windermere Monster before I produce my list of experts' comments.

Ok Woodsy go for it. I don't know how that wee bit of England will cope with more visitors though. Last time I was there a couple of years ago it was November and the place was heaving with tourists. Not a pleasure I assure you.
Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
And with petrol at six quid a gallon, who can afford to trail so far up North to see a monster.
Thus, we now have one in Windermere.
But if we are not careful and the Middle East delivers petrol at 8 or 9 quid a gallon, don't be surprised to find that Nessie has moved to Hyde Park.
It is FMM, but does the Lake District need it? It's stowed out as it in most of the year. :)
That, now, wouldn't surprise me in the least. I mean both the rise in petrol and the move. Nessie of Hyde Park? I may have to get accustomed to it.
