Credit Where Credit's Due

Many bloggers, including myself on occasion, have ridiculed the Daily Mail for their journalism but even the most cynical blogger must give the paper some credit for its tenacity regarding the death of Dr David Kelly. The journalists involved have fought long and hard for the investigation into his death to be reopened.

Last week they reported that Dr Kelly's death certificate was officially registered before the Hutton inquiry ended and it was not properly completed. It was not signed by a doctor or coroner and does not state a place of death, as all death certificates should if this information can be established.

Today the Mail reports new testimony. You can read it here.

To see the faces of Bliar and Campbell as they are arrested for sanctioning his death, would be so very moving.

It may come to that OR. It's definitely a cover-up for someone.

And on this matter too, Blair might repeat his recently released statement....

“I just do not understand this”

Starting to get the feeling that there are more than one or two cover-ups going on here, this particular cover-up was only exposed because of spectacular incompetence in the way it was handled.
Look at the man and what he was working on, and the people he was dealing with, the number of people in this "business" who died sudden unnatural deaths.
This has the feel of an ongoing cover-up which on one occasion was badly botched ,but what else have we missed while watching this one?

The UK is probably not the only country involved.

Strange the Iraq inquiry decided to release that particular document isn't it Joe?

A taster of things to come?

Auch Apogee I've said, since I read Norman Baker's book, that there's a cover-up or three.

Let's hope these medics get their inquiry because then they won't let go.

You may well be accurate with your last sentence.

Give all concerned in this death, a blunt penknife, 24 paracetomol, not forgetting an injured right arm and 5 hours in a quiet out of the way place to prove it can be done, also supply them with a willing helper or two in case they cannot quite manage it themselves, and justice will have been served!

You know I can criticise the medical profession at times Indyan, but where this case is concerned I have nothing but respect for the doctors who have fought long and hard to have a proper inquiry.
