If he doesn't already know the 'list' of the british people then he's either deaf or a liar or stupidly incompetant and isolated from real life in Britain!

And so are you, if you expect a politician to be anything other.

Exactly Indyan. And the fact that the Human Rights Act isn't on the list will come back to bite them.

I hope that was said with tongue in cheek Furore. :)

How about scrapping anything that's been forced upon us in the last thirteen years, irrespective of source.
After that, how about putting Law into the position of "Cause no Loss, Do no harm".
Do-able?

Regarding Indyan, aye. Politicians, no.

Sounds good to me Jayce.

I thought so Furor. Was just checking. ;)

I'm neither deaf stupid or taken in by them Furor, I do see where my comment let you in there, I should never have suggested by ommision that some of them might not be...

Innocent until proven guilty.

DNA of convicted criminals ONLY, to be held in a database.

To incentivise speedy disposal, DNA of all politicians, police & judiciary to taken within 30 days & held, until absolute confirmation that every other unconvicted person's DNA has been destroyed.

As you know Joe that's the way it is here in Scotland with the exception of your splendid idea!

Smoking ban, ammendment thereof to permit nominated smoking rooms by those landlords who wish to and/or establishmenyt of private smoking bars, members only; non-smokers need not apply.

25% of the electorate still smoke.

That's one of mine too banned because this total ban is unfair.

I know of a local hotel which tries hard to please its rather more mature guests and built a lovely summerhouse type of thing in the grounds. The smoking police said it was no use as it had to have at least 50% exposed to the elements. They only had the front open and the rest enclosed.

They spent a fortune repositioning it too. It wasn't the required xxx yards from the main building.

A complete nonsense and more to the point non-smokers think that too.
