We should divide the country into two, one half for the left and the other for the right and if anyone disagrees with their half's policies then they have to find someone in the other half to do a swap with or they get out of the country all together.

Two things cause me concern over the Lib/Dems.

First they have been out of power for so long their appetite to feed on that power and glory in it will be voracious.

For example. their attitude to a referendum over Scotland's independence was not whether there was demand by the people but whether it suited them in parliament. This seems to be the standard Lib/Dems place on democracy.

Also on immigration part of their policy is to dictate areas where immigrants will be allowed to stay within the UK.

This should take the pressure off the south east and give us another union dividend to pack in the vast spaces of our cultural wasteland.

If their is Union in their articles, there no need to be careful in your voting - none will make any difference to your living.

They are more dangerous, even than Labour:

VAT on new houses.
Against free speech clauses in 'equality' legislation.
Denying parents of their right to opt their children out of sex 'education'.
Argued for religion not to be protected in public sector 'equality' duties.
Favour minimum pricing on alcohol.
Full 'marriage' for homosexual couples.
Want abortion pills available in schools.
Would deny parents of their right, indeed duty, to smack their children when necessary.
Supported New Labour in continuing to restrict religious bodies holding TV and radio licences.

They are only 'liberal' when they want to be and seldom 'democratic'.

So glad you didn't suggest the middle ground weren't to come to Scotland Lorenzo. :)

I'm not impressed with their policies RA. As you say the glory would overcome common sense.

Thanks for the list Stewart. Some points there many would disagree with I'm sure.

they did oppose Iraq. as did the SNp of course.

Yes they did Strathturret. Does that make them suitable to govern the country? They didn't protest much. I can't remember any time they protested other than before the vote.
