Dundee United and Ross County play in the Scottish Cup Final today at Hampden Park, Glasgow.
Ross County has never reached such dizzy heights and the people of Dingwall, like all those in such small close communities, are as determined as the Dundee city dwellers to support their team.
I'm not a football supporter but, as I was brought up only a few hundred yards from Tannadice, I will be behaving like Brian Taylor no doubt. Family reminded me earlier that there's a much loved, battered teddy in the attic fully dressed with United scarf, hat, jersey (very dated) and sweatbands so it will be brought out of the darkness to sit me with during the match.
Good luck to both teams. Unfortunately only one can win but to reach the final is a tremendous achievement.
Kick off 3pm.

It's one of those games I would like to see both teams winning, SR, but that can't happen unless they form a coalition.
Very true Stewart. I too would like to see RC win. Such an achievement for them and even for DU because this is only their second time in the final.
