The fact that people are willing to get on their hands and knees to hold a door open for anyone, or the fact that to please the press the prime minister would let people do this for him - and then pretend it is all perfectly natural.
There are university politics courses now where the opportunity to do this kind of thing is regarded as an inducement to study political science there.
I'm sure George won't mind CH. Couldn't see anyone on his knees on the clip, just some kid who doesn't have enough sense to know that if you stand in front of a camera lens then you block filming.

I am not sure what sickens me most about this.

Who is that Labour staffer kneeling on the right?

"Connecting with ordinary people", aye right.
Sandy, I feel very similar although I decided not to say in the post.
Dignity isn't a word politicians understand.

Maybe I looked at the wrong part.
Tell me you're joking - please HG.
It does show the shallowness of the politics in this country though.
That's a great one Sandy! I thought at the time Brown has possibly never acknowledged any bobby on 'gate' duty.
Not that they would be upset. :)

Its just after that. Press pause and move slider to 4.09 and you'll get the still.
Perhaps they were hoping for shorter skirts and Gordon in a kilt.
When I first seen this pic, I thought it demanded a photoshop crown or two, but thought it was so obvious someone else would have done it before me...
I cannot believe anybody would crawl to that extent.
Just goes to show the quality of individual who select politics as a career.
For goodness sake Demetrius, save us from the sight!
Conan, I'm sure you could wave your magic wand over it...
It does doesn't it RA. Speaks volumes really.
