What a disappointment. A debate advertised as 'foreign affairs' with far less than a third of the schedule allocated to the actual subject.
None of my questions was answered - not that I expected them to be, but I was prepared to be suitably surprised.
The poor quality of questions and responses made it depressing viewing.
The BBC Trust has rejected the SNP/Plaid Cymru appeal against their exclusion from the leaders' debates. No surprise there either.

I listened to it for about 10 minutes, and then got bored.
In part it's because I know I'm not going to be voting for any of these parties in the political establishment

I watched because I'm interested in foreign affairs Frank. Just my bad luck there was so little about them.
It was a circus DL. These men display the shallowness of our politicians.
Possibly any with talent give up when they realise that.
It was all so predictable. I found myself shouting profanities at the TV so decided to watch a good movie instead.
I didn't watch it but there was a comment on Barking spiders site that 'Gordon Brown smiled like Thunderbirds Dick Tracy' that made oi larf.
I was ranting at the tv, least Alex got a say on Sky just after it, wish I had £70k to spare so he could take he EBC to court !
How sensible Sue. I certainly won't be watching the next one. Not one word on the billions we give away in aid.

He should have to pay to get justice CD, not as the head of the government and if he was acting on behalf of the government.
I listened to a bit of it. It made me very cross. I seem to have twat some stuff but then, luckily, I ran out of credit on the iPhone because TESCO cocked up my prepaid thingy. Good.
What confuses me is the stuff people like the Bevanite (ROFL) are posting which bears no relation to the stuff I was hearing.
I am glad I don't have a telly. Watching it as well would have been dreadful.

It may have been better if they all weren't so friendly with Adam Bolton, who seemed to stop a subject when it began to be of interest. Who knows.

First time post on your blog, although I have been a regular reader thanks to links from CynicalHighlander and Browndov from BwB. Like you I was extremely dissapointed with the so-called "debate". It would seem the public were too, with viewing numbers of only 4m. The exclusion of any Scottish voice in these debates is undemocratic.
CrazyDaisy - I wish I had the 70k fro the SNP to take the EBC to task. What I have done is to join a political party for the first time in my life, the SNP. I have made a donation to their cause. I hope that if enough of us do this they can take the EBC to court. Even if they don't, they can use the funds to fight the 2011 election and with any luck win enough support to take us to independence and be rid of the Westminster yoke forever.

Last night, because it was a Sky broadcast, not so many people were able to view it I don't think. Also fewer are interested in 'foreign affairs' which, of course, was given as the title. It certainly wasn't the content.
Thanks for the welcome Subrosa. I only watched last night as it was supposed to be foreign affairs under discussion, and therefore not devolved. I boycotted the first "debate" as it was of no real relevance to Scotland. I can say your insightful blogs have in no way been a punishment. It is a pity that Brian Taylor seems to have forgotten his socialist Dundonian roots other than his football interests, must be the BBC influence.
I didn't watch all of the first one Colin because, as you say, much of it wasn't relevant.
Neither am I going to watch the third. Today I feel as if I've been cheated by the media who geared me up to believe I was to view 90 minutes on foreign affairs.
I think it was 25 max. Is that the level of concentration we have in this country?
In some ways I sympathise with Brian. Labour made such a mess of my city in the past 50 years. I mean - what other city in the world has one of the best views in Scotland from a supermarket checkout?
I'm looking forward to seeing how the SNP handle it. Tayside House is still standing after the political talk about demolishing it some 15 years ago.

Considering the three people in question and their purpose they are practically aliens to Scotland.
